Dance/Connect

An exploration of whether online group dance can support the social and mental wellbeing of young people living with anxiety

Welcome

Dance/Connect is a research project led by University College London in partnership with Dance Base, Scotland's National Centre for Dance. We want to understand whether online dance classes can support young people (aged 16-24) living with anxiety through providing a sense of belonging to an online group. We are working with young people to deliver the project, collecting surveys, carrying out focus groups, and using arts-based methods to explore young people's experiences.

Funded by the UKRI Loneliness and Social Isolation in Mental Health Network

Aged 16-24? Are you interested in joining our dance classes?

We would like to hear from young people aged 16-24 who are living in the UK and currently experiencing anxiety who would like to join us for 8 weeks of online dance.
